Are there any Non Profit Entities that benefit new Eve players not specifically related to them? For example: they run free events, donate isk to causes, offers free training (or training materials)
RvB Ganked nights are fun free events that welcome all players
Agony Unleashed offers PvP classes that are not free, but once you have completed a course you can join later classes for the roam at no cost.
Sindel offers ISK/resources to new players that need it in the form of the angel project (http://www.sindelsuniverse.com/?page_id=455)

Sitting in station during a war dec and not being allowed to undock because that overbearing mother that is Eve University doesn't allow its members to undock without someone holding their hand. Needless to say, I didn't stay long.

If you know the specific corp in the alliance I would welcome their name!
I would take Red Frog off the list, they are a hauling corp and have nothing to do with new player training. I would also take Agony Unleashed off the list. They do offer classes to non-members and I would recommend these to any new player, but they are not a new player training corp. They require experience if you want to join them.
Finally, I would add my own corp Pod or be Podded to the list. We are still fairly small and new, but welcome all experience levels and will support new players. |
